IOSH Managing Safely
INTRODUCTION
In association with our training partner, we offer this nationally recognised course of training to management and supervisory personnel in any industry sector and organisation.
AIMS
This safety training course gives personnel at management and supervisor level the knowledge to fulfil their responsibilities in handling resources and risk.
Course Content:
- Safety management
- Active and reactive monitoring
- Risk assessment and risk control
- Reviews and auditing
- Health and safety legislation
- Hazards: general and organisation specific
- Protecting out environment
- Stress in the workplace
DURATION
4 days, plus assessment time.
HOW WILL THIS HELP?
Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, employers have a legal obligation to their employees to have in place policies, procedures and trained personnel in order to meet legal requirements.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Managers and supervisors in any industry sector and any organisation.
This course is for people who are responsible for managing resources and risk in compliance with their organisation’s policy and best practice in health and safety.
WHAT WILL BE LEARNT?
The course covers the health and safety risk management aspects in the workplace.
ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION
Assessment is based on project work and a final assessment. Successful candidates receive an IOSH accredited certificate.
