IOSH Working Safely

INTRODUCTION

In association with our training partner, we offer this nationally recognised IOSH Working Safely course of training to any level of personnel in any industry sector and organisation.

AIMS

This course gives staff at any level, awareness in the essentials of health, safety and the environment.

COURSE CONTENT

• Summary of health and safety legislation
• Defining hazards and risks
• Hazards – general and organisation specific
• Improving the organisation’s safety performance
• Protecting our environment

DURATION

1 day.

HOW WILL THIS HELP?

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, employees must take reasonable care for themselves and their colleagues in the workplace. The course will help employees understand how to achieve compliance with their duties and responsibilities.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This course is for employees from any industry who have no supervisory or managerial responsibilities.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN?

The course covers the responsibilities when handling resourses, risk in the workplace and how safety can be improved.

ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION

By final assessment, with successful candidates receiving the IOSH accredited certificate.
